A total of 8 riders showed up to help Matt, from Statesboro High, with his school project about Motorcycle Awareness. Though it wasn't the turn out we expected, it was a decent turn out nonetheless. This ride took us from Statesboro to Pembroke and back, short and sweet. Ironically, on the way back to Statesboro, a female in a maroon SUV ended up cutting us off - all we could say was, "Motorcycle Awareness!" Another near perfect evening brought nearly 70 sport bikers to B&D Burgers for their second-to-last HD-sponsored Bike Night. It was nice to see that we grew from around 6 sport bikes at the first Harley-sponsored Bike Night to nearly 60+ at the last few Bike Nights. All the while, there were only between 5-20 Harleys showing up.

A total 34 or our 125 members (nearly 30%) made it out to our First Annual Ride, and that was a very impressive number! Talk about a group of riders, we had such a diverse group of riders and nearly 5 groups riding together - but everyone still had an absolute blast. SSB sends out a major Thank You to all who rode with us, and we hope to have at least 60 riders for next years ride.

Therefore, we were able to collectively give to both the American Cancer Society and the Wounded Warrior Project. After the charity events ended, we decided to all meet up and hang out at B&D Burgers and do an improptu photo shoot with the ladies of Bikini Nation - awesome!

We planned a trip that took us to lunch at Locos Grill & Pub, through the SC country into Hardeeville. From there, everyone split off and went their separate ways. Savannah Sport Bike members and many other sport bike riders did a fantastic job filling up the B&D Burgers' parking lot. At its peak, there must have been nearly 50 sport bikes [compared to less than 20 cruisers]. As impressive as this sounds for Savannah, we expect that nearly 75-100 sport bikes will make it out on a beautiful night [as it was a 50% chance of rain day, this evening]. Savannah Sport Bike and SC Gear Heads partnered at the 2nd Annual New River Auto Mall Car Show. This event brought out some very interesting cars and motorycles and a very decent crowd, considering it rained the whole day. SSB thanks Justin at SC Gear Heads for the invitation, and congratulates 95kawizx6r for winning the "Under Construction" Trophy and Bebop1 for winning the SSB Raffle!

A total of 8 of us met at the Statesboro Chevron for a "rain and/or shine" Augusta, GA ride. That's right, we spent nearly 7 hours riding through patches of heavy rain and sight seeing the local hot spots: the Georgia Power Reactor Plant (Vogtle) and the Lock & Dam Park. We also were required to make a pit stop at the local Augusta Honda/Suzuki/Kawasaki shop, due to a fellow rider needing an immediate tire swap. Before venturing home, we stopped for a good lunch at Five Guys.

Then, we went inside to enjoy a quick dinner, and Heather helped cure our hunger for the evening. Finally, we got out for a quick Savannah ride.

A total of 17 of us met up for our first SSB Photoshoot. It started with an excellent lunch at Wild Wing Cafe, where we had stellar service from our waitress (who's name escaped me). We toured several Savannah landmarks and posed the bikes with them, including Hutchinson Island, Talmadge Bridge, the Art District, Tybee Island, and the Sand Gnats Stadium. When we decided to end our photoshoot, a couple of us met at Logan's Roadhouse - where Bridgette did an excellent job.
